How Laser Genesis Works to Correct the Signs of Aging

What is Laser Genesis?

Laser Genesis is a non-invasive procedure that uses state-of-the-art laser technology to correct the signs of aging and promote a youthful, radiant complexion. Men and women with all different skin types can benefit from this painless, effective procedure offered by world-renowned facial plastic surgeon and medical skincare expert Norman J. Pastorek, MD, PC, FACS, located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. He’s consistently ranked as one of the best doctors in the US.

We’re all going to get older, but that doesn’t mean we can’t keep our youthful, vibrant appearance for as long as possible. If you prefer a non-invasive technique over plastic surgery, Laser Genesis is for you.

Signs of aging

Exposure to the sun, wind, or extreme cold can damage our skin over time. And, as we age, our skin loses its elasticity. Fine lines and wrinkles become more pronounced, and it seems these signs of aging keep popping up each time we look in the mirror. How many of these signs of aging have you noticed?

How does Laser Genesis correct the signs of aging?

The gentle, heat-based laser works below the skin’s surface, at the cellular level, to stimulate collagen production. As collagen provides much of the skin’s firm and elastic structure, increased production naturally diminishes the fine lines and wrinkles of age.

Some people notice an improvement after only one treatment. For the full effect, we recommend 6-10 treatments on the face and neck spaced 3-4 weeks apart. Or, Laser Genesis can be used as part of a larger treatment plan designed by Dr. Pastorek based on your overall skin and body goals.

What to expect during your Laser Genesis appointment

Your Laser Genesis treatment will take about 30 minutes. The doctor washes your face thoroughly, and he gives you goggles to protect your eyes from the laser. As you relax in the chair, you’ll feel warmth on the area being treated, but it should never be uncomfortable or hurt you in any way. If you have any questions, or to make an appointment, please give us a call.

Dr. Pastorek and our highly skilled staff in New York City are helping people all over the Upper East Side put their best faces forward. So, if you have questions, or if you’re ready to naturally restore that youthful, radiant glow, call our office or click the online booking link to schedule your personalized session.
