Why We’re Excited About the New Revanesse Versa Filler

We’ve come a long way from the days when Botox® was your only option for erasing lines on your face quickly and easily.  We’ve known that one of the most prominent features of aging is volume loss. Because of this, older faces have more “hills and valleys, while younger faces look smoother and fuller. Dermal fillers are a simple and effective way to restore a more youthful appearance by adding volume. Fillers can smooth the lines and contours on your face, add volume to your lips and cheeks to restore a youthful appearance. While many fillers are available, none have the special qualities Revanesse® Versa™ offers. It is a long-lasting filler, that has been shown to cause less swelling and bruising. Revanesse® Versa™ has been available in Europe and Canada for 15 years. It is now FDA approved and available here in the United States. We are thrilled to announce that we’re now offering the long-lasting dermal filler: Revanesse® Versa™.

At our office in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, Norman J. Pastorek MD, PC, FACS, and Janice Pastorek, BSN, RN, are excited to work this dermal filler into our already robust line of available fillers. With it, we have yet another way to personalize your treatment, helping you look radiant and youthful while protecting your natural beauty.

Get to know Revanesse Versa

Just over a year ago, the FDA approved Revanesse Versa for “injection into the mid-to-deep dermis for correction of moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds.” That’s a long way of saying this new cosmetic injectable is ideal when sagging skin leaves you with wrinkles.

With Revanesse Versa, Dr. Pastorek and our dedicated team of facial revitalization specialists have a safe, effective means to restore facial volume wherever you need it. This not only smooths the folds and wrinkles in the treated area, but it also plumps your skin, helping you look energized and vibrant.

What’s more, Revanesse Versa is a hyaluronic acid-based filler. Hyaluronic acid is a substance your body naturally produces that scientists believe is a key component in slowing skin aging. Because this molecule can retain water, it helps your skin stay hydrated and supple, giving you even better skin revitalization results.

The Revanesse Versa difference

While there are quite a few dermal fillers on the market today that can help smooth lines and reduce nasolabial folds, Revanesse Versa is unique. Produced in small batches in a carefully monitored, state-of-the-art North American facility, this dermal filler was formulated and is created with quality in mind. Each batch is extensively tested to ensure consistency in that quality.

And not only is it FDA approved, but Revanesse Versa was also tested across three clinical trials on more than 300 subjects with different skin types. In one of those trials, a comparable dermal filler created 50% more swelling than Revanesse Versa.

With less swelling and immediate results, Revanesse Versa is a true lunchtime treatment. But just because it works quickly doesn’t mean it fades quickly. A clinical trial showed that nearly 70% of patients still saw improvement in the treated area at the 52-week mark. And an impressive 23% of them said that at that year mark, the area was still “very much improved.”

We’re excited to offer you this long-lasting, meticulously tested dermal filler to reduce nasolabial folds and other facial lines. If you’re interested in finding out if Revanesse Versa is right for you, contact us by calling our office or making an appointment online today.
