How DENSITY uses radiofrequency to tighten skin

DENSITY isn’t the only treatment that uses radiofrequency to tighten skin, helping it look younger. All RF treatments work by sending RF energy into the skin. As it penetrates through the layers of your skin, it heats up the cells.

That heat stimulates activity. Specifically, the RF energy encourages your skin to make new cells. More importantly, it kick-starts the production of collagen and elastin. As your skin creates more of those key proteins, it gets the support system it needs to firm up. 

Unlike other RF treatments, DENSITY combines sequential monopolar and bipolar RF. The multiple forms of radiofrequency working on your skin helps to drive more dramatic results.

What to expect with DENSITY RF

If it is, you relax in a chair as we apply the RF to your skin using the DENSITY applicator. You’ll feel a gentle warming sensation at some points, and then a cooling sensation at others. The latter keeps your skin comfortable, balancing the heat the radiofrequency generates.

When we use DENSITY on the face, treatment usually takes 30-45 minutes. Larger treatment areas take more time.

You might have some redness in the treated skin for a few hours after your appointment. You don’t need to worry about any true downtime, though.

You should see some results in the first week. Your results continue to improve in the coming months as your skin continues doing the work kick-started by the RF.
